Coming soon to Meta Quest

Real spin.
Real rallies.

VR table tennis built on real ball physics. Groove your strokes against the ball machine, tune your paddle and play your friends online.

  • Made for Meta Quest 3 and 3S
  • Closed alpha: invites going out in waves
A player in a black hoodie about to serve, facing an opponent across the table in the On The Table arena, under an LED board showing 0–0.
In-engine render with real Meta avatars. Work in progress.

In the engine

Every bounce is simulated.

Spin, drag and the Magnus effect are worked out for every ball in flight, against the real size of the table, net and paddles. Drop a ball from 30 cm and it comes back up 23 cm, just like the official ITTF bounce test.

Two AI players, recorded in the game's engine with real recorded contact sounds. Work in progress, not final gameplay.

What's in it

Built to feel like the real thing.

Every shot below is a capture from the game running today.

The ball machine at the far end of the table, its clear hopper full of orange and white balls, with the drill name on the LED board behind it.

In the alpha

A ball machine that never gets tired.

Six drills, from forehand and backhand drives to the Falkenberg, looping a push and countering a 100 rps loop. The speed is under your thumb, and your streak climbs on the umpire's scorer.

The Your paddle menu with a Set up my paddle button and a choice of left or right paddle hand.

In the alpha

Line up your real paddle adapter.

Playing with a controller adapter? In passthrough, hold a grip and move your real paddle into the blue one, any angle, then let go and save. Left or right handed, and the bare controller works too.

The home menu floating over the table: Quick match, Play a friend, Ball machine, Paddle setup and Club.

In the alpha

Your friends, across the table.

Quick match, or a private room with a code, with voice chat in the match. Your hits travel as your paddle's real motion and every headset works out the ball for itself, so nobody can fake spin or speed.

  • Up to 120 Hz

Runs at the fastest refresh rate your headset can hold, so fast swings track smoothly.

  • Real contact sounds

Recorded ball, paddle and table sounds, not synthesized beeps.

  • Haptics you can tune

Feel every contact in your hand, as strong as you like it.

  • The right table height

Touch the floor with a controller and the table stands at its regulation 76 cm.
